News that matters?

A few short minutes ago Cate informed Phil and I of the news on news she had just listened to ... regarding the media coverage (or lack there of) on John McCain's use of the word cunt. Towards his wife.

WTF?

I agree with Phil's assessment of this as proof of gender bias in the media.

For those that are nerdier (or at least as nerdy) as I, you may have already heard the news.

I learned of these FABU butt statements from the ever popular "Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me" podcast from the 8th. I know, I am a little late on the listening, but I was on an Ozark vacation! (which will be the subject of another blog once I get my pictures back)

Apparently, these abstinence pants are being sold at K-Mart. More has been said about these sweats on such blogs as Feministing: "because nothing says 'I plan not to have sex until marriage' like plastering text across your ass," and The Buzz Blog.
